About European Open Bridge Championships
The "European Open", as it is casually called, includes pair and team tournaments in each of the four categories: open, women, seniors and mixed. It has absorbed a number of existing championships, namely, the European (Open & Senior) Pairs Championships, the European Women Pairs Championship and the European Mixed Championships (Teams & Pairs). Right of entry
Bridge players from all WBF zones are entitled to participate, provided that they are a) members of and b) in good standing with their Federation. All events will be transnational, and there will be no restrictions on number of entries per NBO.
How to reach Poznań?
Poznań is a city in the west-central Poland on the Warta river. The Championships take place at Poznan International Fair (Glogowska Street 14), at Congress Centre Hall 15.
By plane: Poznan International Airport (direct flights from Warsaw, Frankfurt, Munchen, London, Milan and others)
By car: from Berlin - Motorway A2 approx. 300 km (part of the highway is under rebuilding)
By train: from Berlin of from Warsaw approx. 3 hours
