Entry fees

Entry fees are paid in cash (Euros or Polish Zloties) or by Credit Card at the Tournament Reception and Registration Desk at the venue.

• Mixed Teams - 800 EUR (per team)
• Mixed Pairs - 270 EUR (per pair)
• Open/Women/Senior Teams - 950 EUR (per team)
• Open/Women/Senior Pairs - 400 EUR (per pair)

The entries are calculated on the basis of approximately 20 Euro per person per qualifying session (and semi-final in pairs). There is no extra cost for players reaching the Pairs Finals or the KO phase of the Team events. Players from the finals of the Teams can drop the Final of the Pairs event of the same category free of charge.

A 25% reduction on the entry fees will be recognized to all the players entering the four events. A personalized identification badge will certify this agreement.

A 25% discount on the entry fees will be also recognized to all the junior pairs and teams (both players in a pair and all players in a team have to be juniors). Every player born in 1986 or later is a junior. You will be requested to provide an ID to verify that a player is entitled to an entry fee reduction. In cases of violation a pair may be denied the right of entry even if they have already paid the entry fee.

Discounts cannot be combined.

The EBL bank account is to be used to pay the entry fees (all details are given by e-mail after the registration). It will be also possibile to pay by credit card or cash at the venue of the Championships.

Awards

European Bridge League Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals will be awarded. The winners in each category will receive the title of European Open Champions. Honour prizes will be presented to the best ranking pairs and team in each category. EBL Master Points will also be awarded.

The Teams and Pairs winning the European title in Poznań will be hosted by the EBL at the 6th European Open Bridge Championships to be held in 2013 for one week (the winners of the Mixed event will be invited to the Mixed playing week, the winners of the Open/Women/Senior events will be invited to the O/W/S playing week) with free entry and B&B Hotel accomodation in a double room.

Cash prizes

These are prizes for the overall score of the Championships.
